Weed Eater for the Dog Run
I just won a bid on eBay for a 25cc (gasoline powered) Weed Eater string trimmer to clean up all the tall weeds at the dog run. The total cost with shipping was $88.
I spoke with Ann Marie and we'll take this out of the dog run fund we collected last fall.
Unless someone else would like to give it a home, I can keep this in the tool shed at my house on Senator Street. I have no lawn or weeds here so it will only be used for the dog run.
I'll need a couple of volunteers to help with the clean up when the thing arrives... one with a good back and one to help keep the dogs away from the back while we're working.

Has anyone tried calling 311?
I spoke to a friend of mine that works for the Parks Dept and he mentioned to me that if everyone calls on a daily basis to 311 and complain about the fencing issue at Owls Head Dog Run, he assured me that they will do something about it.
I have been putting in my phone call once a day and if we all pitch in and just make one phone call , this might help. What have we got to lose?
