doggie resources

This is a somewhat disorganized list of resources, articles and references which dog owners may find interesting.
The nearest 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic is Veterinary Emergency Referral Service in Cobble Hill. Their web site was acting up when I posted this so here's the Google reference, which includes a map, address and phone number.
You should keep ASPCA's Poison Control Hotline number handy too: (888) 426-4435. I called it when Jack ingested a Frontline capsule. It's $55 per call, billable to a credit card.
Animal Planet's Dog Park Etiquette Quiz. Not exactly grad school level but cute.
Whole Dog Journal's Dog Park Etiquette guide. Some nice ideas here.
An interesting site on dog body language. There are additional links on the topic too.
Hopefully you won't ever need to use it, but you should know how to break up a dog fight.
If you're tired of lugging 40-pound bags of dog food and kitty litter from the store, Dog Delight delivers.
You can download a dog license application online now.
And, yup, there's even a web site entirely about dog runs.
More to come.
