Careful again this morning

The ground was like permafrost at 8:30am. Auggie cut his paw on the frozen mud.

I learned the hard way

Thanks, Steve. I should have heeded your advice from yesterday. Lola nearly knocked me off my feet as I was standing on an icy patch this morning. Hope Auggie is doing okay.

Be careful!

The walk through the park to the dog run was treacherous enough this morning with all the black ice on the sidewalk, which was made worse by the thin film of melted water laying on top of it. But when I got to the dog run it look like a glacier melt.

I don't know how some of you made it in there but please be careful! I broke my wrist (both bones) walking a crazy dog on ice like this back in '91. I had a deja vu flashback of that miserable morning so I turned around and went home.
