Meeting with Parks Liaison

Today Steve, Geoff and myself met with Bernadette Hoban, leader of the group Friends of Owl's Head and Michael Lavery, the outreach coordinator for Partnership for Parks. Mr. Lavery acts as a liaison between the parks department and community groups. We discussed some of the issues that the Owl's Head Dog Run has been facing and the routes that we need to take to help solve them. We were told that we need to contact Community Board 10 to get the ball rolling. Our representatives will be meeting with the community board in the near future regarding the creation of a more permanent dog run.
